NFL Draft Homework: Las Vegas Bowl

Oregon State vs BYU, December 22nd, 8:00pm, ESPN

Top NFL Draft Prospects for the Las Vegas Bowl:

1. Dennis Pitta, Senior TE, BYU (Pictured)
All-American TE that could also play H-Back in the NFL. Has the frame to be a solid inline-blocker as well as a pass-catching threat. Pitta should go in the 3rd or 4th round.

2. Sean Canfield, Senior QB, Oregon State
Prototypical QB size (6-4/220) along with solid feet and a good arm make Canfield a mid-round pick that could rise or fall depending on what team doctors think of his shoulder.

3. Max Hall, Senior QB, BYU

Hall’s intangibles make up for some of his physical deficiencies, such as his small build (6-1/200) and average arm. Great accuracy in short and intermediate routes might have a west-coast team take a 5th-7th rounder chance on him.
