NFL Power Rankings Week 6

Check out the NFL Power Rankings Week 7!

The NFL Power Rankings Week 6 edition sports some odd teams at the top, with some perennial favorites trailing not too far behind.

The Elite: The Broncos and Bengals showed they belong this week with impressive wins over New England and Baltimore respectively, although the Saints, Giants and Colts have better bodies of work so far. Meanwhile, the Vikings beat up another weak sister.

1. New Orleans Saints
2. New York Giants
3. Indianapolis Colts
4. Denver Broncos
5. Minnesota Vikings
6. Cincinnati Bengals
7. Philadelphia Eagles
8. New York Jets

The Contenders: It is really bizarre for me to have the Bengals higher up than the Patriots. I will now walk in traffic.

9. New England Patriots
10. Atlanta Falcons
11. Baltimore Ravens
12. San Francisco 49ers
13. Pittsburgh Steelers
14. Chicago Bears
15. Miami Dolphins
16. Arizona Cardinals

The Wannabes: Seattle doesn’t suck when Matt Hasselbeck plays, and the Jaguars and Cowboys are definite wannabes. The Texans tried to play their way out of this division, but couldn’t quite do it.

17. Green Bay Packers
18. San Diego Chargers
19. Dallas Cowboys
20. Seattle Seahawks
21. Houston Texans
22. Jacksonville Jaguars
23. Washington Redskins
24. Detroit Lions

Al Davis and Friends:
The Bills might have lost the season with one kickoff fumble on opening night.

25. Cleveland Browns
26. Tennessee Titans
27. Buffalo Bills
28. Oakland Raiders
29. Kansas City Chiefs
30. Carolina Panthers
31. Tampa Bay Bucs
32. St. Louis Rams

The giants have done what they are supposed to do… beat weaker teams. Not only that, but the margin of victory in these games is large. They are VERY convincing.

I love it…the Giants haven’t beat anyone but cream puffs, yet they are #2. Good job!
