DJ’s 2010 NFL Mock Draft

DJ finally got around to updating his NFL Mock Draft. Check it out and leave him some comments.

Check out the official NE Patriots Draft 2010 NFL Mock Draft too!

Updated: 4/20/2010

1. St. Louis Rams
Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
Best QB in the Draft for the team that has the worst QB’s in the NFL.

2. Detroit Lions
Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
The Man named Suh will instantly upgrade the Lions poor defense. If their offense can continue to improve with Stafford, we could see 6 or 7 wins in 2010.

3. Tampa Bay Bucs
Russel Okung, OT, Oklahoma State
The Bucs need to protect Freeman, as he is their franchise right now. Okung would definitely be the man to do that in this draft.

4. Washington Redskins
Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
McCoy would have been a 1st round pick last year, but his performance this year cemented his position as a top-10 talent.

5. Kansas City Chiefs
Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa
Seriously, the Chiefs have the worst o-line I have ever seen. Bulaga is a beast, put him in at LT/RT, and move Albert to LG if need be.

6. Seattle Seahawks
CJ Spiller, RB, Clemson
Electric runner will give the Seahawks a dynamic scoring threat that they so desperately need.

7. Cleveland Browns
Eric Berry, S, Tennesse
Eric Berry is a game-changing safety that can provide those exciting plays. He can play corner and safety both, adding to his versatility.

8. Oakland Raiders
Rolando McLain, LB, Alabama
McLain might be the best linebacking prospect since Patrick Willis. Denver would love to have this dynamo.

9. Buffalo Bills
Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
The Bills need two OT’s, and Davis is a legit talent that should solidify one of the tackle spots for the next decade.

10. Jacksonville Jaguars
Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgaia Tech
If at first you don’t succeed with pash rushers, try, try again.

11. Denver Broncos (CHI)
Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma
If they can’t trade back in the draft, Dez Bryant is the obvious choice to replace Mr. Marshall.

12. Miami Dolphins
Jason Pierre-Paul, DE/OLB, USF
JPP is an aggressive player that would be a great replacement for Jason Taylor — has some red flags, but is quite a talent.

13. San Francisco
Joe Haden, CB, Florida
The ‘Niners need some solid corners that can tackle as well. Haden is that guy for Coach Mike.

14. Seattle Seahawks (DEN)
Charles Brown, OT, USC
ZBS specialist that will keep Charlie or Matt upright in 2010.

15. New York Giants
Earl Thomas, S, Texas
If they can’t get their hands on Morgan or JPP, Earl Thomas is a natural fit for them at S or CB.

16. Tennessee Titans
Jared Odrick, DE, Penn State
No Kyle V? No problem. Odrick is a horse that will demand some attention very soon.

After watching Balt destroy pats new draft priorities. Oline oline dline dline linebascker. He Bill try trading up for a change and have kraft spend some of his cheese money. O tackle and o guard priority. Brady will not last if oline is not upgraded immediately. Sign Wilfork to extention then build from there not much talent on dfense.

Overall I think you have a good insight, one thing I wanted to point out is that the reason a lot of 49ers picks haven’t worked out on the Offensive Line is health problems, and for this reason I think they take Anthony Davis from Rutgers over Brian Bulaga… just something to think about.

No chance the Chiefs pass on a talent like Berry, Pioli will find a OT in the mid to late rounds like he did for the Pats for years

The problem with you saying that the Chiefs have the “Worst O-line that you have ever seen” is it is obvious you only watched the first half of the season. There were guys playing in the first half that weren’t playing in the second half. Also in the last 3 games, Matt Cassel wasn’t sacked once. And another thing that changed was when the Chiefs got rid of the low average gaining poison that was Larry Johnson, they found a running back that made the O-line better which all built up to improvements that helped the Kansas City Chiefs O-line open up huge holes in Denver’s defense that helped Jamaal Charles gain 259 yards on the ground. The obvious counter argument that you will make on that is that the Denver D isn’t very good, however, you can’t have your running back gain that many yards without great O-line play. If they get a better center, then they can move the current center to guard, thus improving the line even more, because the Current center Niswanger would be better as a guard. Chiefs need Defensive help

why dont you update your draft order… after all this is the first mock draft after the regular season

  6. Anonymous says:

Seattle needs a QB. If a good one is available they will take one.
No way th jets waste a pick on a RB. They have 3 good ones now.

  7. Anonymous says:

I cant really comment on the picks since the order of the picks does not reflect what they are today.
That is the only way to do a mock IMO.

  8. Anonymous says:

Don’t see Dallas taking an OG when the have greater needs at OT and safety.

  15. Doug says:

Good mock, but the Broncos already draft Alphonso Smith and Jack Williams has played well. I think the Broncos are better off going with a inside linebacker maybe a defensive end. But other than that very original picks.
