NFL Power Rankings Week 3

The NFL Power Rankings for Week 3 show some movement, both up and down, from some unexpected places.

The Elite: Jets are the big movers, as they have had good victories over the Texans and Patriots, but the Falcons could take over up top if they beat the Patriots this week.

1. New York Giants
2. New Orleans Saints
3. Atlanta Falcons
4. Pittsburgh Steelers
5. New York Jets
6. Baltimore Ravens
7. Indianapolis Colts
8. Minnesota Vikings

The Contenders: The Packers slipped big time, with a bad loss against the Bungles. The 49ers are 2-0, but are they for real?

9. Dallas Cowboys
10. New England Patriots
11. Philadelphia Eagles
12. San Francisco 49ers
13. Houston Texans
14. Arizona Cardinals
15. Chicago Bears
16. Green Bay Packers

The Wannabes: The Broncos are the epitome of a Wannabe, one win against a bad Cleveland team, and a fluke win in week 1. We’re still not sure if the Titans are going 4-12 or 12-4.

17. Denver Broncos
18. San Diego Chargers
19. Buffalo Bills
20. Tennessee Titans
21. Cincinnati Bengals
22. Miami Dolphins
23. Oakland Raiders
24. Tampa Bay Bucs

Al Davis and Friends:
The Raiders have moved up and out of this division, but with Hasselbeck out again the Seahawks are setting up shop at the bottom.

25. Cleveland Browns
26. Washington Redskins
27. Seattle Seahawks
28. Carolina Panthers
29. Jacksonville Jaguars
30. Kansas City Chiefs
31. Detroit Lions
32. St. Louis Rams

    saints+finally a good defense= super bowl!

  2. Admin says:

I would hope that is true, but the Cowboys looked good against the Giants – who are a good team. The Patriots just don’t have their timing down yet.

Im a Giants fan but why are the Cowboys higher than your Pats?!?!? If they played ten games, Pats would win 8 out of 10! Romo would lose 6 of those games by himself. Come on now…

Drop dallas for sure, and give Niners more respect plz

nice rankings. flip-flop atlanta and baltimore. drop the steelers a few, that wasn’t a good loss. philly should be higher than dallas, injured QB into consideration

I’m a Jets fan and I’m surprised we’re ahead of the Ravens, but I guess our Defense is way better than theirs so far this season.

  7. Admin says:

Power Rankings show where a team is stacking up across the league. The Patriots haven’t shown that they are a top team yet in the NFL this year.

Why did the Patriots drop so much in the Week 3 NFL Power Rankings? It was only one game.
