SEC Players to Watch in 2009

We could probably make two or three lists for SEC Players, as there is some incredible talent coming out this year. The SEC could easily have 15-16 first rounders in 2010.

Brandon Spikes, LB, Florida
Spikes has the tenacity and drive to compete inside in a 4-3 or 3-4 defense. He and Carlos Dunlap will make it hard on other SEC offenses.

Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
Will compete with Taylor Mays to be the first safety drafted. Berry is an incredible playmaker.

Rico McCoy, LB, Tennessee
McCoy reminds me of the toughness and instincts exhibited by a certain other Volunteer LB that Patriot fans know and love.

Terrence Cody, DT, Alabama
A true mountain of a man, Cody will be plucked up by the first team that needs a 3-4 nose tackle.

Ciron Black, OT, LSU
Black could have been a 1st-Day pick in 2009, but chose to return to the bayou and hone his skills. That should make him a top 20 pick.

I agree with assessment on all 5 players!
We’d be better to have any of the five…
