Rookie Mini-Camp Roundup

Over the last couple of days, Patriot rookies have been learning the ins and outs of the Patriots system and trying to impress their new coaches at Rookie Mini-Camp. Since the public is not allowed to view the practices, we have to rely on the opinions of those able to view them.

Mike Reiss feels like WR/QB/AT Julian Edelman has made progress in his transition from QB, and likes the way Darius Butler looks. Read more here.

Andy Hart from PFW was impressed by Brian Hoyer’s accuracy, but was concerned with Ty McKenzie’s apparent knee injury. Hart also mentioned that the new coaches O’Brien are doing some good work. Read more here.
