With Tom Brady back in full swing and looking good during the OTA work this week, many fans in New England are dreaming about the Patriots adding a fourth Super Bowl banner this decade.
But realistically, with all the parity in the NFL these days (Don’t tell the Lions that), just how good are the odds of that occuring? According to Bodog Sportsbook, pretty dang good. They have the Patriots going off as a 5/1 favorite to win it all. The only other team in single digits is the defending champion Steelers, who are at 9/1. The aforementioned Lions are a slight underdog, coming in at 150/1 odds.
While on paper, the Patriots only have a 20% chance of winning, I think Tom Brady, Randy Moss, and the improving defense will have a few things to say about that in the coming months. Get one ready for the pinkie boys.
