The Patriots have selected Myron Pryor, DL, from Kentucky with their third to last selection in the 2009 NFL Draft. The Patriots have two more picks, #232 and #234, to use in the seventh round.

The Patriots have selected LS Jake Ingram from Hawaii. They obviously felt like they needed to have a competition for the long-snapper position after Lonnie Paxton left for the Broncos.

The Patriots have selected George Bussey, OL, Louisville. Bussey will have a tough time making the active roster and seems destined for the practice squad. He will need to beat out Ryan O’Callaghan and/or Wesley Britt.

The Patriots traded the #137 and #141 to the Ravens for the #123 and #198. With the 123rd pick, the Patriots have selected Rich Ohrnberger, OL, Penn State.
New England has had lots of good contact with the guard from Happy Valley, and they obviously felt strong enough about him to trade up into the 4th round to get him.
