The current Patriots Mock Draft Database consensus has the Patriots either picking an OLB or a RB with their first pick in the draft. Jerry Hughes (OLB, Texas Christian) and CJ Spiller (RB, CLemson) seem to be leading the pack right now.

A 2010 NFL Mock Draft Database already… you are nuts.
The Patriots actually keep their 1st round pick and trade a couple of their second rounders to move up and grab Taylor Mays 6’3 230 4.3 forty. This draft is stocked with pro-bowl safeties. Mays,Berry,Chancellor,Rolle
Why would we move up to grab another saftey when we have Merriweather and Chung?
I’d have no problem with 3 great safeties and let Chung play the hybrid.
Why would the Patriots need Terrence Cody with Ron Brace and Vince Wilfork?
Dez Bryant to the Pats!!
come on, pats are taking kindle or suh with their first pick…priority list…DE, Ol, olb, rb, wr, then te
offensive linemen, okung or trent williams from oklahoma could b first pick as well or adam utal…get bruschi, neal, and kaczur the heck outta dodge bill…
i think the list of needs is:
1.) OT – possibly Ciron Black, LSU
2.) RB – possibly CJ Spiller, or Jahvid Best
3.) OLB – Sean Weatherspoon, Mizzou
4.) MLB – Rolando Mcclain, Alabama
5.) TE – Jermaine Gresham, Oklahoma
Sean Weatherspoon
As a fellow Bostonian living in Oklahoma I say grab Jermaine Gresham from Oklahoma. He will be a
great fit for the pats. Think of Watson speed, Daniel Graham blocking and Moss hands plus he is a beast of a player. If this guy is around he would be a great pick up. He is also an extremly
smart team player.
Can anyone tell me what the Pats cap number would be next year if we had a cap
After today’s performance in Denver, I’d say draft Tony Pike and start grooming him to replace Brady in 2012.
pats will take one from this list with their first pick…sergio kindle, bulaga, trent williams, or sum stud olinemen, sean witherspoon, jerry hughes, sam bradford, suh jermaine gresham..mark it down.. priority needs
Olinemen, de/olb, te, wr, rb, qb, ilb depth, punter,
no way patriots draft in first round they have 3 2nd round picks and will not take running back first round another Maroney???
They should get jahvid best 1st round then get another linebacker 2nd round then DE on the second of the 2nd round then a DT on the third of 2nd but they should really get jahvid best because he is a beast
they should get jahvid best 1st then jermaine gresham 2nd round sean weatherspoon 2nd round trade maroney for a 3rd round and green-ellis for a 3rd round for 2011 picks
CJ Spiller beast mode and dez bryant
The Patriots should select Brandon Spikes of Florida with their 1st Round Pick in the 2010 Draft.
Charlotte’s No. 1 Patriot Fan!!!!
terrelle pryor in 2011 for the wild cat and the future
Terrelle Pryor? He’s very athletic, no question, but I’m not so sure about him being a great QB at the next level. I would take a pass on him.
Wow, it’s good to be a Pats fan right now. Not only are they competitive in the present, but they have 7 picks in the first two rounds of the 2010 and 2011 drafts. Incredible.
Big Suh or Brandon Spikes then get dion lewis for running back
What about Golden Tate. Randy is still good but he maybe got 2 more yrs left
a brady replacement? he is not going to be here forever?
you mean hoyer doesn’t get you excited?
what if the PATS went out and got Bradford in the 1st round to stash him away to be brady’s eventual replacement in 2014? WOW!
Cj spiller all thge way and take on of are two second round picks with a third round pick and take Jerry Hughes, Sergio Kindle, Sean Weatherspoon, or Brandon Spikes
After the way ravens beat us now is the time to reload with the 4 picks in the top 100. Defense is a priority. Is now the time to get Peppers??He would be a great addition .Hey coach hoodie bring back Weiss and let somone else take some responsibility for the team you can not do everything..Get out of the house and go to a Bon Jovi concert and chase some skirt, all football and no play makes Bill very predictable.
I say we get Jermaine Gresham or jerry hughes with our first pick then with our second round picks, someone like Brandon Spikes, Dexter McCluster, Sergio Kindle, or even Arthur Jones.
Any one of them would make our team that much better
Jerry Hughes might be 6’2 but he is one of the most explosive pass rushers in the draft. He would be ideal for the Patriots on those 3rd downs.
Mike Iupati is an absolute beast of a guard. 6’6 around 320 but so agile and nasty. He pancaked rey maualuga effortlessly. I say he is most worthy of our 1st round pick. Dude is gonna beast next to Vollmer.
Love the draft chatter but some of you guys are clueless!
Patriots should take Suh…? Suh? SUH?
And how would they manage that when he will be a top 3 pick, maybe number 1 overall?!??!
Still, love the chatter!

Football’s Future.com should be on here as well dude…they have a pretty oft-updated mock.
Otherwise, awesome digest! Love that Norwood pick; he’s a little underrated.
I’d love to see the Pat package their first round pick and one of their second round picks to grab Seattle’s #14 pick, to possibly get Spiller or another difference maker on offense. Since the Pats have three second rounders, it might be a possibility! Seattle doesn’t have a 3rd rounder, but a trade like that would prob. be tempting for them.
They should go with Jerry Hughes if he is there. Pats desperately need somebody who can apply pressure. I don’t think if Sammy Morris can actually stay healthy, they should go with him as the starting HB.
I’d rooting for a DE/OLB rd 1. I agree we need some defensive help, especially a pass rush. I’d love to see Kindle still on the board, but I doubt it. Probably a guy like Odrick round 1.
Then, rd. 2 we need to grab one value pick playmaker/offensive leader for the future. I’m hoping Tebow or Dexter McCluster. Can you imagine Tebow in a PATS uni??? He could play a little wildcat or even TE right away and be groomed at QB.
tebow!!!!
Im sorry. I like TimTebow but i hope hes gone ASAP so we dont have to spend the whole draft talking about where hes goin or if the Patriots are gonna take em. Bill is usually pretty careful about kissin someones ass before he drafts him. He took him to one of the most popular restaraunts in mass and has kissed ass wenever possible. Bill is usually as candid as it gets with his dealings with this kind of thing. But every year Bill throws as at least one curveball in the draft so you never know. Love how Tebow is a great athlete, great “winner” , great competitor…. wish he played linebacker
JNims
Hope we can get Graham! I would love to see that Wolverine in our team!
