Patriots Sign Joey Galloway; Resign Wright

Continuing their very active off-season which has seen multiple additions to each side of the ball, the Patriots signed free-agent WR Joey Galloway to a one-year contract. The former Tampa Bay veterand should provide competition with Greg Lewis for the #3 receiver and deep threat position.

Backup defensive tackle Mike Wright also resigned with the Patriots today, locking in with New England for 4 years and nearly $8 million dollars.

As the Patriots are about $5 million dollars under the cap at this point, the Patriots will be probably sit tight until draft day, unless they can restructure some contracts that is.
