Somebody Lock Connor Barwin Up

Can someone tell Connor Barwin to lay low for a couple weeks? Us Patriot fans would love to see him around at #34 or at least #23, and with each day that looks less and less likely. He is quickly shooting up draft charts again after his incredible pro day workout after bursting onto the scene with a great workout at the combine.

Barwin (DE/TE/LB, Cinci) reportedly ran a 4.47 time in Cinci, improving on his 4.6 forty yard dash time from the combine. He also put up 23 repetitions on the bench press, two more than in Indianapolis.

Other than improving on his already cemented status of “athletic freak of the draft”, Barwin had an incredible day on the field as well. He participated in all of the positional drills. Not just one. Not just two, but all the drills for all three of his potential positions. Add in the o-line drills to show his blocking prowess and you’ve got one tired Bearcat.

Now Connor, you of the size 13 ring, please stay home. Don’t do workouts, don’t do interviews. If you do, run slow and talk fast.
