Rodney Harrison Injury

Rodney Harrison
According to Reiss’ Pieces, Rodney Harrison will miss the rest of the year with a torn quadricep muscle. Since Harrison is in the last year of his contract and on the wrong side of 35, all signs point to this being the end of a historic career.

Harrison is the first and only player to be in the NFL’s version of the 30/30 club, tallying 30+ sacks and 30+ interceptions during his 15-year career.

The future hall-of-famer was chasing Jay Cutler in the third quarter when his leg buckled. He was carted off to resounding applause and support from the crowd and his teammates. Harrison waved to the crowd and pointed to his teammates, spurring them on to victory.

It’s been a pleasure. Please join ESPN NFL Countdown and drop the hammer on Tom Jackson and company.
