Roy Williams Pizza
Update: Roy Williams will be traded to the Cowboys for a 1st, 3rd and 6yh Round Draft Pick, according to Adam Schefter.

When is the 2008 NFL Trade Deadline you ask? This year it will fall on Tuesday, October 14th. While trades rarely happen at the NFL Trade Deadline, there are some players that would like to be in different situations and contenders that need to find that missing piece.

Let’s take a look at a few deals that make sense (and some that don’t), and check where Roy Williams will be stiffing delivery people next.

Tony Gonzalez (Chiefs) for Giants 3rd and 5th Round Draft Picks

Tony Gonzalez (Chiefs) for Patriots 3rd and 5th Round Draft Picks

Roy Williams (Lions) for Seahawks 2nd and 3rd Round Draft Picks

Demarcus Ware (Cowboys) for Roy Williams (Lions) (proposed by Lions)

Chad Johnson (Bengals) for Raiders 2nd Round Draft Pick

Lito Sheppard
(Eagles) for Chad Johnson (Bengals)

The NFL Trade Deadline sucks compared to the MLB

I’d like to see the Pats get a pick for Maroney, they have plenty of backs if Jordan is healthy.

Would love to see the Saints make a deal for Lito or Chad, they need help on both sides of the ball after the poor way the offense played on Monday night even though they had a rough game still a Saints fan for life.

If the Pats got a 2nd rounder for Maroney, that would be ridiculously awesome. Not gonna happen with the way he’s played his entire career with the exception of last winter. My dream trade (veers slightly on the unrealistic side): Matt Cassel and Laurence Maroney for a 3rd round pick and a time machine.

Hell NO!!! Demarcus Ware (Cowboys) for Roy Williams (Lions) HA HA…. Thats a JOKE IF THE COWBOYS DO THAT… IT WILL BE THE STUPIDEST MOVE THE COWBOYS WILL EVER MAKE!!!

Roy Williams, Larry Johnson, Chad Johnson, Lito Sheppard, and Tony Gonzalez all need new teams.Roy to Philly, Frisco, or Tennessee makes a lot of sense. 2nd or 3rd round pick would do it. Maybe Lito Sheppard in Philly’s case.Gonzo to Philly would be a good fit. He’d be a monster with McNabb. And a 3rd or 4th round pick would be worth it to KC at this point in Gonzo’s career.Chad to Dallas would be worth it for entertainment alone. ESPN bring tents and sleeping bags to the the team facility. Chad does need to go though. And Jerry may be the only owner with the stones to bring him in. 3rd rounder would be all it would cost. Larry Johnson to Philly is ideal. Johnson’s 29, so it’s time he stop wasting on a team so far from winning. 3rd round pick is what it takes for a running back that age. Even a damn good one. It would really give Philly a legit chance to catch their division.
