Joey Porter killed the Patriots. Matt Cassel had no chance at all.
It helps to be a three-time pro bowler and not a backup safety...
Anthony Smith wasn't a backup until a while AFTER that game
Maybe Smith will talk smack again this year. It should work out well for him this time. After all, without Brady the Patriots aren't that hard to beat.
Seriously though. I actually saw an article that said this ended the Patriots hopes for another undefeated regular season. As if any such hopes were actually based in reality. The Patriots still have a good team, but look for a few more losses.
