Roger Goodell didn’t take this pick because it’s not the Patriots’. Its the 49ers. Theres your logic.
Why Roger Goodell didn’t strip them of this pick is beyond any reason or logic. Lucky for New England the 49ers are a joke.
They’ll trade down and get a couple of players they really want. I remember a couple of years ago when they drafted Mankins, Mel Keiper screwed his face all up and said something like it was a stupid pick and the other guards were better. The other analysts complimented the Patriots for being excellent talent assessors. And look what turned out. Here’s to you, Mel — har har hardy har har.
As we all know, the Patriots are masters at identifying value where no one else can. Rumor is that Malcom Kelly was sighted visiting the Patriots and would be an outstanind short-term and long-term solution for this team. They are once again choosing to look past any character issues in this guy.
gholston shouldnt go to he raiders he have good linebackers and thats what hell play in the pros i think NE will trade up for him!!!! but i hate them…
What are you talking about… he has them taking mckelvin
ne plays a 3-4 so.. they dont really need another nose when they got wilfork.. i think they go corner
So anyone from the SEC is good right?
Dorsey is too small for the 3-4. >>Yes Mike Wright has played well in the 3-4 and he is a smaller nose.>>But the Pats have never had to gamble a top 10 salary on Mike Wright.>>Dorsey is not even worth discussing.
I can see that swap happening… I talked about it in the < HREF="http://www.nepatriotsdraft.com/2008/03/possible-trade-partners.html" REL="nofollow" TITLE="Possible Trade Partners">Possible Trade Partners<> post a few days ago.
if mcfadden is there at 7, expect the pats too swap picks with the cowgirls and aquire the cowgirls other first rounder.
Dorsey’s injuries might not be that bad, and the Patriots never overpay CB’s (Law/Gay/Samuel) They will probably trade down anyway.
#1 Why would NE take Dorsey(injuries) if Ellis is there? #2 NE lost most of it’s starting secondary, seems to me getting the best secondary(DB’s) is a higher priority. ILB is another priority.
